Staying fit and healthy has always been high up in my priorities since my adolescence.
As a former successful competitive ballroom dancer I have learnt early on about the importance of achieving and maintaining balance with exercise, wellness and other ways of stress relief for a healthy life.
In my leisure time I have regularly and successfully instructed a fitness/ aerobics class for a sports club in Germany for several years.
I graduated from the renowned Swedish Institute of New York City / College of Health Sciences (16 months full-time study with 1250 credit hours in massage therapy) and therefore have a strong medical massage background and a dedicated interest in wellness through the therapeutic use of various bodywork techniques and modalities.
In addition to being licensed in Massage Therapy by New York State, I am also nationally certified in Massage Therapy by the BCTMB (Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork).
Workshops and continuing education classes have inspired me and influenced significantly the way I understand how the mind and the body are connected.
It also taught me to value an informed, compassionate human touch which is always therapeutic and sensual at the same time.
